Guidelines to Ensure Safety, Comfort, and Discipline for Hostel Residents
Hostel Rules
The hostel at Vivek International School is designed to provide a home away from home. To ensure the safety, well-being, and discipline of all students, the following rules are mandatory.
Rules and Regulations
1. Stay in Hostel
2. Leave Policy
Students may only leave the hostel during the official vacation periods and only after permission is granted.
3. Visitors
Parents may visit their children once a month on designated days, typically between 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
4. Prohibited Items
Students are not allowed to keep walkmans, transistors, cameras, mobiles, watches, or other expensive articles with them on the school campus.
5. Cash Management
Students are not allowed to keep cash with them. No money is to be given to them and no money should be sent directly to the students. Any unauthorized money found with the students will be confiscated. Borrowing or lending of money and other personal belongings from each other is strictly prohibited.
6. Dress Code
Private clothes are not allowed during class hours. Separate dress will be for the class and the rest of the hours.
Hostel students must adhere to the dress code during and after class hours.
7. Food Parcels and Outside Food
Food parcels from parents are discouraged, and if sent, they will be shared among hostel residents after checks.
Disciplinary Action Section:
Misconduct, harassment, or bullying of any kind will result in severe disciplinary action, including expulsion from the hostel.
