VIVEK SINGH MEMORIAL TRUST (regd.) Vivek Singh Memorial Trust Board of Trustees:
Vivek Singh Memorial Trust was registered on May 15, 2007.
Vivek Singh Memorial Trust is a charitable trust and works on a no profit-no loss basis. After the formation of the trust, the first social activity undertaken by the trust was to establish and run a school in the villages to impart quality education to the village children. Since the village children lack basic facilities and people are not fully equipped to take proper care of their children, it is necessary to build schools that can develop the life skills of the children and provide basic education as well as character building education. To achieve this objective, it was deemed necessary by the trust to develop a school on a completely residential basis. Thus Vivek International Residential School was established.
To start the school, the trustees gave 3 acres of land on a 30-year lease basis. There were no financial resources available, so all the members donated as much as possible from their personal resources. However, most of the resources have been donated by the managing trustees.

Previous Work Experience:
Worked for various national and international companies as an engineer for more than thirty years. Got the opportunity to work and travel in about twenty countries.
After successful professional career, decided to return to the village and work on educational project and transformed himself into an educationist and social worker.
Life Aim: To serve the village society especially economically and socially backward population throughout life. To work as motivational speaker for the younger generation. Interested in music and spiritual songs.

- KMC Manipal and Mangalore 3rd and 4th year Medicos jointly awarded Gold Medal in an Extraordinary Prize Competition.
- Honoured with “Ambulatory Medicine Award”: In recognition of exceptional commitment and talent in the care of out patients, June 2007.
- Awarded “Eleanor Widener Dixon Award” – 2007: For research “Retrospective study of patients admitted with fragility fractures.

5. Late Mishrilal Sinha, Head Master: Member of the Trust
(2 February, 1934 – December, 2017)
Education:
- Graduation: Philosophy in the year 1956
- Post Graduation (MA): Sociology in the year 1959
Served as the first Head Master of Kabir High School Selra, Khajauli in 1960. Developed this school as the best school in the surrounding areas. Became role model for teachers and students. Served this school till his retirement in 1994. Elected as President of Bihar Secondary Teachers’ Association, Madhubani and remained on the post for 17 years. Nominated as President of Bihar Secondary Teachers’ Association Academic Council, Patna and remained on the post for 7 years. Participated in many talk shows on All India Radio, Darbhanga.
6. Dr Shusheela Mishra: Member of the Trust

Work Experience: Total 27 years. Professor in English in Juhri Devi Girls PG College. Programme Officer in NSS(National Social Service) for 15 years.
